"You did a good job, Mama!"

The bedtime routine includes a short story, scriptures, prayer, and songs that Andrew chooses. Andrew kept asking me to sing "Be Still." For a few days, I couldn't figure out what song that was, it was something I'd never sung to him. Finally, the light bulb went on and I realized it was "Chapel Doors." So I sang it to him, and his eyes lit up and after he said, "You did a good job, Mama!" Why does it feel so good to be able to impress a 2-year-old?

The chapel doors seem to say to me, shh, be still.
For this is a reverent place to be, shh, be still.
We gather here on the Sabbath Day, to learn of Jesus, to sing and pray.
So when we come to the chapel doors, shh, be still.
