I got this harebrained idea some weeks ago that our apartment is just too small. That I NEED a fenced backyard. And a garage. And a basement. And a place to put a third baby. We're on a waiting list for 8 total student 3 bedroom townhomes/houses - we're 3rd in line. The problem is, once a family moves into one of these said homes, they park it for eternity, so we're looking at a 6-month to 18-month wait. Sooo....I've developed this terrible habit of checking Craigslist every few hours, and every time I drive by a FOR RENT sign, I stop and call to find out the price & number of bedrooms. I've yet to find as good a deal as the student homes. So I wait.
And dream.

It's okay, you're not alone. I check ksl once or twice a day to see what townhomes are available. 3 bedrooms and a fenced in yard sound really nice.
More space... so coveted at our house :) We are thinking about getting rid of our renters and taking over the bsmt. for a while. Is it worth $725 a month? That is the question.
Was that an announcement of a 3rd baby on its way or did I already miss it? =)
Sorry we won't be moving anytime too soon. Doug just did another timeline for his PhD, and we are for sure looking at 2010 sometime. Believe me when I say that I am as bummed as you are..

I got into the habit when we moved this last time and haven't gotten out of it. And we've been in our house for a year. It is addicting. I have learned the cost of more space: more to clean. It is such a catch 22!
