Nastia Liukin & Shawn Johnson just won Gold & Silver yesterday. Oh what a night!
Seeing Mary Lou Retton & Nadia Comaneci in the stands last night brought back the days of my childhood, practicing on the "balance beam" on my neighbor's pool table and making our own Olympic medals out of aluminum foil and yarn.
The Olympics truly are magical.

Amen! After Mary Lou's 10 I begged and begged until my mom let me take gymnastics. I really wasn't good at all, but I sure loved it for a few years. Swimming and gymnastics are my favorite of the summer games.
