Cookie Cutters
With three boys and haircuts every 5 weeks, this place has saved me. I used to cut their hair, but it involved lots of screaming and tears. They look forward to haircuts now. They come in, play until it's their turn, pick out their favorite movie or video game and chair to sit in, and then they get a balloon and sucker after. Can't ask for better than that...

Little Haunts 2010
We've been going to "Little Haunts" at Heritage Park every year, and it seems like each year they step it up one notch. This year did not disappoint. I especially loved how they turned the Bowery into a trick-or-treating neighborhood where the pioneers answered the doors with candy. They had fun games and crafts for the boys.
This was also my first three-kids-without-Randy adventure. I warned the boys that if they left my side or disobeyed even once then we'd have to go home. I also asked them to be patient because babies slow things down. They did great and were very patient - we just took a really loonnngg train ride when Connor needed to eat. Connor was wrapped up in a ball, snug in his wrap, sweet little thing.

Trainee
Here is Josh with Lamby in his belly, and what you can't see is that Lamby is in the "head down" position, we wouldn't want to have a breech Lamby...

Since Connor has been born, Josh now dresses Lamby and totes him around like his own baby. He even holds him like I hold Connor, I've even caught him burping Lamby. He also sits in our spare car seat when we run errands.

Figured it out...
My blog posts are automatically sent to "Google Groups" - if you have requested to be on my email list, then you are getting my blog posts in your email inbox via Google Groups. If you don't want to be on my email list, just let me know (my feelings won't be hurt :-). I know how it is to be bombarded with too many emails with too little time to read them all! Also, I wanted to let you know that if you reply to one of my emails, it will no longer be sent to the entire group - it will only be sent to me. And one more thing...if you'd like to be on my email list, just let me know!

Connor's Blessing Day
We couldn't have asked for a more perfect day - everything about it was wonderful.
We had breakfast at our place after the blessing. I wish I would have thought to take more pictures, but here's what I got...

All three boys were able to wear this outfit. Connor was angelic on his special day.
At Andrew's blessing, we took great pictures but didn't write the blessing down. At Josh's, I wrote the blessing down, but didn't take one stinkin' picture. At Connor's, we did both. It took three kids to get it down.
"Are you happy about me?"
"Mom, are you happy about me?" This is what Joshy says when he misbehaves. And when I'm not "happy about" Josh, he also says, "Mom, I want to hold you." How can I be mad at this naughty little creature when he says things like this?
Since Josh has started preschool, he calls home "Baby School." Andrew goes to 1st "grabe". Josh goes to preschool. Connor goes to baby school.
Andrew has asked many times since Connor has been born, "Mom, do we get to keep Connor forever?"

We Tried
We were feeling ambitious this week and decided to walk to Andrew's school in the morning - it's about 5 miles round trip.
Here we are at 7:45 am, excited for our adventure...

Then about halfway there, Andrew went over a bump in the sidewalk wrong and knocked his eye pretty good on the handlebar. Poor guy. But he was brave and walked the rest of the way to school. We got him patched up and he went on with his day as normal. This picture was taken five days later. I'm curious to see his school pictures which he took the day after the accident.

I'm afraid to make a 2nd attempt.
