Connor @ 18 months
Connor isn't much of a talker. He can pretty much grunt and squeal his way into getting us to do his bidding. But his two most very favorite words are NO and Josh. No doubt, he hears those two words the most. He is a cuddler and his favorite person to cuddle with is definitely his dad.

Saint George & Zion
We spent the weekend with our family in Saint George and then we spent a couple of days at Zion National Park. Tyler's parents were very generous and let us stay at their vacation home in Saint George. It was nice to get away. The boys were good little hikers at Zion and the trails were perfect for their age. Not too many pictures of Connor - he was in the stroller most of the time. We motivated the boys to keep going by promising to find a fun "spiderman" wall to climb on. Most of the picture show them doing their Spidey poses. These pictures don't do the park justice. Such a beautiful, breathtaking place.
Side note: We didn't start the vacation off on the right foot exactly. When we got to Saint George, we went with the family to go out to eat. We were following Larry, and of course, he got a little lost. I guess the turning in circles made Joshy queasy because he got sick. Oreo cookies are NOT fun to clean up, by the way. On our way back to the vacation house to get him cleaned up, Randy hit a curb and we got a flat tire. I just busted out laughing because it was just too horrible to do anything else. We were close enough to the house, so I walked the kids back to the house and Randy had the tire fixed (roadside service is our best friend). Can you imagine little Joshy all covered in puke during the walk back to the house? Poor pitiful thing. But after that, our vacation was smooth sailing.

Birthday #34
My wedding dress is hanging up in a spare closet in Randy's parents' house. When we visited to celebrate my birthday, I thought it would be fun to see if the dress still fit. The buttons didn't quiiiite button all the way in the back, the middle was much more "fitted" than it was when I was 22, but I was extremely satisfied that after 12 years and three babies, it fit pretty darn good!

I bet these guys had so much fun making this. I love the Electric Company and this is my favorite clip:

Steps
Connor is 16 months old today and he has officially taken his first steps! He's been flirting with the idea for a few days, but today he finally went for it. My mom got him a walker for Christmas and he's been walking with that thing back and forth - it's too cute!

Christmas 2011
Lots of spoiling on this special day. Christmas should always be on a Sunday.
