
1. Fill his tummy.
2. Jump around like a maniac, or fall down.
3. Tickle him under his chin, arms, or on his tummy.
4. Take off his socks.
5. Growl or snarl at him.
6. Clap your hands or wave to him (he'll smile and clap/wave back).
7. Rescue him from his crib within 5 minutes of his waking, after that he'll just be mad at you for not getting him sooner.
8. Put him in the bath with his brother.
9. Let his brother push him in the playground swings.
10. Give him chocolate.
I gave him a chocolate chip cookie while driving in the car today to (1) keep him awake and (2) to pacify him before giving him lunch. We stopped for gas, and when I waved to him while I was pumping, he gave me the sweetest, chocolate-smeared grin I've ever seen.
