This little life of mine is too precious.
It started with the realization that "screens" are ruining my children. The boys spent a couple of weeks with their cousins. 7 boys together. What did they want to do most? Play the wii. We live on over an acre of land! It's summer! We spent a small fortune on sports camps this summer. I didn't see them ONCE play with a ball outside.
Screens are ruining my children.
When the cousins left and the dust cleared, I got to my senses. Boys, change is coming. TV, OFF. Video games, OFF. In all honesty, not completely off. Moderated. Drastically.
This is what the first day of limited screen time brought:
My life is over. Mom's mean. I guess I'll just sit here and hit my brother with random lawn toys.
It's been a couple of weeks now. I am encouraged.
